Balfour Beatty Group announces acquisition of Power Efficiency.

New partnership formed to deliver comprehensive ‘end-to-end’ energy service provision to customers.
Power Efficiency, the energy procurement and carbon strategy consultancy, has today announced that it is has been acquired by Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure group, becoming part of its Support Services Division. Power Efficiency has been seeking an investment partner to help it achieve its aim of becoming the leading energy services provider in Europe.
Merging with Balfour Beatty will allow Power Efficiency to broaden its range of services and provide customers with access to wider resources and capabilities. The combined entity will have over 100 dedicated technical specialists and account managers focusing on the delivery of end-to-end energy and carbon management services.
“Through market research and direct feedback from our customers, it has become very apparent that companies are looking for an ‘end-to-end’ service,” commented Bobby Collinson, Managing Director of Power Efficiency. “With Balfour Beatty we will be able to facilitate energy procurement and compliance services, as well as full project management from implementation to operations and maintenance, and even offer customers project finance. This will put Power Efficiency at the cutting edge of the burgeoning energy services market, and provides us with a solid platform for growth and development.
